NMC'S ARTISTIC POLICY
NMC Recordings exists to record the work of living composers from the British Isles. NMC champions a wide-ranging and inclusive repertoire and through collaboration with other music and arts organisations seeks to reach the widest possible audience. Quality is central to NMC's mission and we represent the highest standards of British musical work within the means available to us.
OUR ARTISTIC PANEL
NMC's Artistic Panel is drawn from leading composers, artists, curators, writers and other specialists in contemporary music as well as NMC's Executive Producer Colin Matthews, and Executive Director Anne Rushton. Members of the Panel meet 3 times a year to review the recording proposals sent to NMC, and to guide and inform the artistic choices of the label.
NMC is not currently actively seeking submissions as we have planned our schedules to 2018/19. However, if you would like to submit an idea to us please complete the Project Proposal Form and email it to our Executive Director, Anne Rushton: firstname.lastname@example.org. Fully completed proposals only will be considered at the next artistic planning meeting.
Our next meeting is in March 2017 - proposal forms need to arrive by 31st January 2017.
Please note that we record contemporary classical music by composers from the British Isles, and that we do not sign artists.
