Arun Ghosh is a British-Asian clarinetist, composer and music educator. He was named Jazz Instrumentalist of the Year 2014 in the APPJA / Parliamentary Jazz UK Awards and selected to be a Musician in Residence 2014 in Wuhan, China in association with PRS Foundation and the British Council.

Ghosh was one of the BT Celebrity Storytellers for the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics and also appeared as a featured artist with his Arkestra Makara pan-Asian chamber orchestra, for the BT River of Music Festival as part of the 2012 Cultural Olympiad.

Ghosh is an established musical director and composer for theatre and dance with over 70 major productions, from Storm by Lemn Sissay (contact, Manchester) in 2002 to Musical Director and Composer for Lions and Tigers (Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre) in 2017. His recent theatre compositions include Hobson’s Choice (Royal Exchange Theatre) and Noughts and Crosses (Pilot Theatre/Derby Theatre).
