Genevieve Wilkins is an Australian born freelance percussionist who is based in London.
She is a member of “ensemblebash”, UK’s premiere percussion ensemble and a founding member of “The G Project”, an exciting and virtuosic collaboration with cellist Gabriella Swallow. Genevieve has performed with and/or recorded with Nash Ensemble, Joanna MacGregor, Lionel Richie, Akon, Josh Groban, Joby Burgess, Max de Wardener, DJ Panko (Ojos de Brujo), Cerys Matthews, DJ Pathaan, Alex Wilson, Gavin Bryars, Karen David, Alex Phountzi (Bugz in the Attic), Monika Lidke, Andrew Poppy, Mark-Anthony Turnage, Shiva Feshareki.
Genevieve was the performance musical director for the 2013/14 premiere of the musical “American Psycho” for the Almeida Theatre. Her other theatre credits include “Thriller Live” (West End and Stadium Tour), “Tap Dogs” (West End and Australia), “Never Forget” (West End) and as musical director/principal percussionist for various productions at the Shakespeare Globe Theatre (including worldwide cinematic release). Genevieve’s orchestral credits include the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (percussion feature concert) London Sinfonia, Malaysian Philharmonic, New London Orchestra and the West Australian Symphony.
