PR, Marketing & Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to drive our press and marketing strategy, with a strong focus on audience engagement, brand awareness, digital and social media. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead on PR, marketing and sales for an award-winning music charity which works to ensure the voices of the best British and Irish composers are heard globally and in perpetuity.

This role would suit a highly organised arts professional with an appreciation for the arts, particularly music. You will be an excellent communicator and engaging writer with visual flair, confident in creating and delivering marketing and promotion strategies.

  • Term: This appointment is a permanent position
  • Hours: Full-time (5 days / 35 hours per week)
  • Location: NMC’s office is in Bethnal Green, London E2 9PL. We embrace hybrid working (home/office) and are open to flexibility, though regular time in the office is essential
  • Salary: In the region of £31k p/a – salary to reflect experience of successful candidate.
  • Deadline: 10am on Tuesday 30 April
  • Interviews: First interviews will take place on Friday 3 May. Second interviews are due to be held on Thursday 8 May.

NMC Trustee

NMC Recordings, the leading charity record label devoted to the promotion of British and Irish contemporary classical music, seeks to appoint at least two new Trustees to help us develop and deliver our strategic plans and secure our financial future, acting as an occasional advisor to our small executive team.   We are looking for someone who is interested in taking this award-winning organisation to a new phase in its 35th anniversary year. As a trustee we will ask you to put your existing skills into practice whilst being supported by our dynamic board of trustees.

We have two current vacancies and are looking for new Trustees with specialist knowledge in the following areas:

  • Digital marketing and e-commerce
  • Learning and participation

We celebrate our 35th anniversary in 2024 with a release schedule that does what NMC does best: supporting composers at all stages of their careers, from the rising stars recording their music professionally for the first time, to the great titans of British and Irish contemporary music.
