Kristina Wolfe

Kristina Wolfe is a composer, wanderer, electronic musician, maker, and multi-instrumentalist. She is of Danish and American heritage, and spent many of her formative years wandering through the forests listening to the sounds of space and place.

She is currently a composer and finishing her tenure as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie scholar in sound archaeology exhibition and composition at the University of Huddersfield. She currently spends her time hiking, fieldwalking, and field recording.  In doing so, she hopes to gain a deep respect for history, to capture the resonance of objects from the past, and to develop an understanding of time. She is a Deep Listening certificate holder and active new music community member.
