Peter Edwards
After completing a Masters in Jazz at Trinity Conservatoire Peter has gone on to direct, compose, arrange and perform in a variety of prestigious settings.
In 2019 he led the Nu Civilisation Orchestra as Musical Director for a BBC Prom of Duke Ellington’s Sacred Music. He has composed a live soundtrack for Oscar Micheaux’s 1926 silent feature film ‘Body and Soul’ for the British Film Institute and was commissioned by the PRS foundation and Tomorrow’s Warriors Live to write ‘Journey with the Giants of Jazz’ for the 2017 New Music Biennial.
