Fundraising & Development Manager
Salary: £27,000 - £31,000 depending on experience
Location: Bethnal Green, London E2. Working hours are currently split between homeworking with around one to two days each month in the office.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead on fundraising and development for celebrated new music label and charity, NMC Recordings Ltd, playing a vital role in securing the long-term future of this important institution.
Described by Sir Simon Rattle as a ‘national treasure’, NMC’s releases have received multiple Gramophone and BBC Music Magazine awards and has been commended by the Royal Philharmonic Society for its "outstanding contribution to the furthering of contemporary music in Britain".
NMC is devoted to enriching cultural life by connecting listeners worldwide with exceptional contemporary classical music by composers from Britain and Ireland. More than just a record label, we are committed to supporting and developing the talent of emerging composers, and of the next generation of composers and audiences.
Reporting to the Executive Director, supported by the Development and Projects Assistant, you will be responsible for developing NMC’s overarching fundraising plan, identifying, and tracking progress towards income targets, and reporting regularly to NMC’s Board. You will devise and deliver strategies for all strands of fundraising, including individual donations and giving schemes, trusts and foundations, and corporate partnerships. You will devise special campaigns and cultivation opportunities and write grant applications and reports. You will have a key role in reporting to NMC’s main funder, Arts Council England.
We are looking for a highly motivated, organised, and technically confident fundraiser with a minimum of two years’ experience. You may already have worked within classical music, the arts/culture, charitable or education sectors; however, we are open to approaches from individuals from other sectors who are keen to learn about new music and passionate to succeed
