We're thrilled to announce the latest addition to NMC’s free educational resources

To celebrate 30 years of the label, works from our vast back catalogue of contemporary classical music are the starting point for a new, educational digital resource pack. Involving students as curators and researchers, the resources are designed for use with learners aged 11-14, culminating in a digital exhibition that will be hosted on NMC’s website.

Students are guided through a series of six short videos and corresponding worksheets which include contributions from writer and BBC Radio 3 presenter, Kate Romano, composer and researcher Dr Stephen Berryman, and NMC's General Manager Ellie Wilson, and introduce young listeners to music by composers in the NMC catalogue including Thea Musgrave, Howard Skempton, Errolyn Wallen, and Judith Weir.
